    About Uhura Bionics

    Uhura Bionics

Uhura Bionics is a Polish company that builds speech restoring devices for people who lost their larynx, mostly to cancer. It sells Tik Tak, a compact electronic larynx, and Voxflow, a wearable voice amplifier, and is testing Whitney, a personalised larynx designed for natural intonation. Its CEO, Konrad Zieliński, lost his own voice to cancer.

    Key Features

    • Tik Tak electronic larynx: A compact voice source with one-button volume and pitch control, quieter operation and over a week of use on 3 AAA batteries.
    • Voxflow amplifier: Portable speaker with a wearable microphone for real-time voice amplification, a 2000 mAh battery, USB-C charging and AUX and MIC-IN ports.
    • Whitney (coming 2026): An electronic larynx calibrated to each user, with intonation, emotion and a feminine timbre option; trial sign-up open.
    • Clinical partners: Developed with doctors and speech-language pathologists in Poland and the USA.
    • Online store: Devices and accessories are sold through the company store.

    Use Cases

    • Daily speech after laryngectomy: Give people without a larynx a reliable voice source for everyday conversation.
    • Loud environments: Amplify the user's voice at work, in public speaking, in social settings and outdoors.
    • Expressive speech: Speak with intonation and emotion, and join the Whitney trial for laughter and singing.
