About Maven
Maven: The Payments Layer for Voice AI Agents
Maven provides a payments layer for voice AI agents, enabling developers to add payments in minutes. The platform is designed to handle the complexities of PCI compliance, card handling, and security audits, reducing engineering overhead. It addresses issues such as handling failed payments, supporting multiple payment gateways like Stripe, Braintree, and Adyen, and offering flexible payment options. Customers can pay directly in the call or through a secure link sent via SMS.
How It Works
Maven's process ensures that card data never touches your servers and involves three main steps:
Step 1: Create a Session - Your agent calls the Maven API with the amount and the caller's phone number. The API returns a transfer number or a checkout link.
Step 2: Collect Payment - The caller is transferred to Maven for secure card collection via voice or dial pad. Alternatively, a checkout link is sent via SMS. This step supports charging or saving a card.
Step 3: Caller Returns - After the payment is complete, the caller is automatically transferred back to your agent to continue the conversation.
Integrations
Maven is platform-agnostic and connects with your existing voice platform and payment gateway.
Supported Gateways: Stripe, Braintree, Adyen, and more.
