    Job Description

    ABOUT RETELL AI

Retell AI is using first-principles thinking to reimagine the call center with cutting-edge voice AI. Thousands of companies now use Retell's AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that once required large teams of human agents. Backed by Y Combinator, Alt Capital, and other leading investors, we've scaled to $80M in ARR with a team of 50, up from $5M at the start of 2025, and are now valued at over $1.5B.

Our vision for 2026 is to build a modern CX platform where entire contact centers are powered by AI. Instead of basic automation that needs constant human tuning, we're creating intelligent AI “workers” that act as frontline agents, QA analysts, and managers, continuously executing, monitoring, and improving every customer interaction.

We're growing fast and looking for ambitious builders who want to tackle hard technical problems, move quickly, and have a real impact on one of the fastest-growing voice AI companies in the world.

    Let's build the future together.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

Retell AI transforms customer experience with voice AI for enterprises, including customers like CVS/Aetna, American Airlines, Lenovo, and Grab. We have more customer stories than we can tell!

This role sits on Brand team and is our first senior brand design hire. You'll be the person who closes that gap: every launch, landing page, conference booth, customer story, and social post that carries the Retell name comes through you. At our stage, one designer's taste can define what an entire category looks like, and voice AI has no visual language yet.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY

This hire owns how Retell AI looks everywhere a customer encounters us, from the website to the trade show floor.

    • Ship the visual assets that drive awareness: launch campaigns, landing pages, social media, blog thumbnail designs, and sales collateral.

    • Turn abstract voice AI concepts into visuals people immediately understand, diagrams, illustrations, and product marketing graphics that explain what an AI agent actually does.

    • Extend our brand system (type, color, illustration, templates) so the rest of the company can produce on-brand work without design in the loop for every asset.

    • Own the physical and experiential surface: event booths, one-pagers, signage, and company merch people actually want to wear.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Must have:

    • 3+ years of brand or marketing design experience, with a portfolio that shows wide range of brand work across web, social, print, and campaign work.

    • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, and composition. We can tell the difference between good and almost-good.

    • Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and the speed to take a request from brief to shipped asset in days, not sprints.

    • Comfort working from a one-line brief, you bring the direction, then take feedback well.

    Nice to have:

    • Illustration or 3D skills for custom graphics, icons, and product imagery.

    • Motion and video: After Effects, Rive, or similar, for social and launch assets.

    • Web design experience with enough front-end literacy (HTML/CSS, Webflow, or Framer) to ship a page yourself.

    • Experience at an AI or developer-tools company, or a personal practice that keeps you current on how the best AI brands are presenting themselves.

    • Prompt-level fluency with AI image and video tools as part of your production workflow.

    HOW WE EVALUATE

We care less about checkboxes and more about:

    • Taste under constraint. Can you make something excellent in two days with an incomplete brief? We look at the work, not the process deck.

    • Volume without decay. Our marketing calendar is relentless. We want designers whose tenth asset of the week is as sharp as their first.

    • Clarity of thinking. You can explain why a design works in terms of what the business needs, not just what looks good.

    • Ownership. You spot the ugly slide, the off-brand ad, the broken landing page and fix it before anyone asks.

    YOU MIGHT THRIVE IF

    • You get genuinely annoyed by inconsistent brand execution and can't leave it alone.

    • You want your work in front of millions of people at a company growing 16x a year, not buried in a brand book at a mature one.

    • You want a small design team where your work is visible and attributable, not one where it disappears into a queue.

    • You're energized by working in person with a small, fast team.
