EkStep: A people-centric transformation

EkStep is a foundation dedicated to equitably empowering people and unlocking possibilities for transformation at scale. The organization focuses on seeding and orchestrating Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) initiatives, nurturing them from inception to impact. EkStep operates on a philosophy called The Art of Working, which prioritizes purpose over milestones, culture over processes, and opportunities over products.

Key Initiatives

• Sunbird: A digital public infrastructure initiative orchestrated by the foundation.
• PeoplePlus AI: An initiative focused on AI diffusion and empowerment.
• Bachpan Manao: One of the foundation's core societal initiatives.
• Other Supported Initiatives: AXL, BlueDots, OAN, VoiceAI, Societal Thinking, Seed to Forest, Theatre of Possibilities, and ONEST.
• DIKSHA: EkStep highlights its connection to DIKSHA, the world's largest digital education platform created by the Government of India, aimed at ensuring universal foundational literacy and numeracy.

Goals and Philosophy

EkStep aims to create 100 AI Diffusion Pathways By 2030. The foundation believes that when individuals are equipped with the right tools and opportunities, they become agents of transformation, with purpose-driven technology serving as the amplifier.
