DeepL Voice: real-time speech translation for meetings, in-person talks and contact centers.

About DeepL
DeepL
DeepL Voice is the real-time speech translation line from DeepL, the Cologne language AI company founded in 2017 by CEO Jaroslaw Kutylowski. It translates speech in online meetings, face-to-face talks and contact centers via its API, as live captions or voice-to-voice audio that keeps each speaker's voice. It launched in November 2024.
Key Features
- Voice for Meetings: Live translated subtitles and voice-to-voice translation in Microsoft Teams, Zoom Meetings and Google Meet, plus a desktop app for Windows and Mac.
- Voice preservation: Translated speech keeps each speaker's tone, rhythm and intonation, without storing voice samples; 12 languages at launch in September 2026.
- Voice for Conversations: Face-to-face speech translation on iOS, Android and the web, one-on-one or in groups.
- API for Voice: Embedded speech translation and live interpretation for contact centers and BPO workflows.
- Terminology control: Glossaries, Spoken Terms and shareable style profiles for company names, acronyms and technical vocabulary.
Use Cases
- Multilingual meetings: Let each participant speak and listen in their own language in international team calls.
- Frontline and retail: Help store and service staff talk with customers who speak another language.
- Customer support: Staff contact center lines across languages without hiring for each language.
