    About Coworkkit

Coworkkit: An AI Co-worker Inside Your Web App

Coworkkit is a front-end runtime that lets developers add a voice AI co-worker to their own web app. The co-worker talks with users in real time, knows the page and data the developer exposes, and runs the app's own actions in the user's signed-in session, with no AI backend to build.

    Key Features

    • Real-Time Voice: Users speak with the co-worker in the browser over WebRTC, on a hosted voice stack (speech-to-text, LLM, text-to-speech and transport) included in every plan.
    • Declared Context: The useSurface hook tells the co-worker which page the user is on and its key facts. It sees only what the developer declares, with no screenshots or DOM scraping.
    • App Actions: Developers register actions with useAction (name, description, parameters). The co-worker picks an action from its description and the app's own code runs it.
    • Live UI Controls: useElement exposes a control's state and actions, such as a sort menu, so the co-worker can read and operate the same controls as the user.
    • User Permissions: Actions run as the signed-in user under their permissions, so the co-worker can never do more than the user could.
    • Server-Side Key: A single drop-in token route on the developer's server starts each session. The API key stays server-side and the audio never passes through that server.
    • Sensitive Action Confirmation: On-screen confirmation before sensitive actions, plus an action record callback the app can log.
    • Proactive Help: An optional chime-in mode lets the co-worker speak first when a user arrives on a new page, for example an empty setup screen. Off by default.
    • Regions: Sessions run in the EU or the US, with region affinity and edge routing on the Scale plan.

    Use Cases

    • Onboarding: Walk new users through setup steps and complete them with the user.
    • In-App Support: Answer questions on the page where the user is stuck and carry out the fix.
    • E-commerce: Search products, filter by price, sort results and add items to the cart by voice.
    • Complex Workflows: Guide users through rare or error-prone tasks inside the product.

    Pricing

    • Free: $0/month, 100 co-worker minutes, full SDK.
    • Starter: $99/month, 500 minutes, email support.
