About Audora
Audora: Full-Cast Audiobooks from Any Story
Audora is an audiobook studio for stories nobody has recorded, from fanfiction and web fiction to e-books and personal files. It reads the text, finds every speaking part and performs the story with a narrator and a different voice for each character.
Key Features
Paste a Link: Stories can be imported from a Wattpad, AO3, Reddit, Medium or Substack link.
File Upload: Readers can drag and drop an epub, pdf, docx or txt file of up to 100 MB, or paste the text directly.
Automatic Casting: Audora detects narration and dialogue, works out who is speaking and assigns each character a distinct voice.
Full-Cast Performance: Conversations play back as a cast, so exchanges between characters sound like a dialogue rather than a single reader.
Free Preview: Every link, file or pasted text starts with a free preview, with no account, card or commitment needed.
Line-by-Line Player: The script is shown with speaker names, and listeners can tap any line to play from that point.
Personal Library: Finished audiobooks stay in the user's library until they delete them.
Sample Performances: A public library of performed stories, including Dracula, A Scandal in Bohemia and Treasure Island, lets listeners hear the voices first.
Author Edition: Authors can order commercial audiobooks of their own work, in their own voice or with voices picked by Audora, and keep all the rights.
Use Cases
Fanfiction Readers: Listen to long-running fics and web serials that will never get a studio recording.
Personal Reading Lists: Turn e-books, drafts and documents into audio for commutes or chores.
Independent Authors: Produce a commercial audiobook edition without booking a studio and voice actors.
Pricing
One-Off: $7.99 for a single book, unlocked forever.
Weekly: $5.99 per week for 1 book per week.
Monthly: $19.99 per month for 3 books per month.
Annual: $209.99 per year for 3 books per month.
Authors: Custom pricing based on word length, with commercial use.
Consumer plans are for non-commercial personal use. Books over 120,000 words count as more than one.
